The joy of writing

Why bother to go through the pain of writing?-It is never easy, writers will tell you that but they still faithfully labour to write and share pieces of their hearts and mnds. Why?What satisfaction lies in weaving pictures from words to those that belong to the #Legionofthepen ?Is it for fame?Wealth?Or is it for the shear joy of unburdening the heart?

Albert Camus say that,"A guilty conscience needs to confess.A work of art is a confession".How so?Writers have eyes that see things that ordinary eyes care the less to see. They have hearts and minds with pores many enough to let realities of life sip through into their consciousness they cannot hold it unless they go mad with it .And so they bear the burden of knowledge of the world that they mostly never ask to have in the first place. The sins weigh heavy enough to be shed and joys of life so brilliant are that they need to retold for they bear the touch of hope that every human being needs. The writer thus writes even when there is no reward,to purge the soul of the burden of things seen, things heard and things felt, for no one soul is strong enough to bear alone all that the world in its peace, madness and sometimes confusion and uncertainities.

As Camus puts it,"to write is to become disintrested. There is a certain renunciation in art."Laying bare to the eyes the realities of life and human folly is rejecting one's very own humanity;for all the limitations that come with thr very fact we are human applies to all of us.To write is to strip yourself nude before watching eyes and letting people see you to your darkest vaults that even to yourself are a rare go zone.
Therefore,a writer who writes for the sake of writing or for fame or for mere material trappings without an underlying inferno of utter conviction grinds his/her life for the vain.

So great a peace it is to write and unburden the heart and mind of the things that yearn for freedom of the birds.Life longer seems and merrier it gets when sleep is no longer tormented by things that wrestle the spirit every waking and resting hour and dreams too get their chance to nest in the mind and coo to the ever troubled heart. This is the joy of writing!
